Solution.

Numerator (quadratic, cross method): 2m2m1=(2m+1)(m1)2m^2 - m - 1 = (2m + 1)(m - 1).

Denominator (4 terms, group 2-by-2):

m+mn1n=m(1+n)(1+n)=(1+n)(m1)m + mn - 1 - n = m(1 + n) - (1 + n) = (1 + n)(m - 1)

Combine:

(2m+1)(m1)(1+n)(m1)=2m+11+n\frac{(2m + 1)(m - 1)}{(1 + n)(m - 1)} = \frac{2m + 1}{1 + n}

Answer: 2m+11+n\dfrac{2m + 1}{1 + n}.
